You do not discuss your sin with God.You do not negotiate your sin Him. Also, do not try to explain your sin to Him. You are to do only one thing–to repent of your sin before Him.
In the Bible, David tried to negotiate his sin with Bathsheba but that did not work.
When you go to God because of any sin, just do one thing–repent.
