A God we cannot hide from

Psalm 139:1-3 NIV
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. [2] You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. [3] You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

What can we hide from the Lord?

Nothing!

Where can we hide from the Lord?

No place! He sees it all.

How can we hide from the Lord?

No way and no means! He understands every thought and process.

A beautiful exchange

Isaiah 43:2,4 NLT
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. [4] Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.

The Lord delights in His people. So, He would “trade” others for our place and for our good.

He does these things from His good heart to the people that He loved and to the people that follow Him.

A good example is found in Exodus 12:35-36. The Israelites enjoyed unparalleled favor before the Egyptians so much that they gave the Israelites anything and everything they asked for.
