Hope

One of the beautiful things about Easter is that it reminds us that we have Hope for tomorrow. I tell you, life can be really pathetic without Hope.

This life, this world has too much problems, too much fears, too much tears, too much chaos and too many adversaries all around everyday. Even in the midst of tears, the only reason I post this is because I know and have HOPE that tomorrow can and will be better.

Hope is the confidence that God is able to do what He promised. Hope is trusting the saving hands of the saving God. Hope is looking up to God when all is down.

Hope is the assurance that you will live to see tomorrow.

I tell you, life is meaningless and worthless when there is nothing to hope for.

So, there is Hope that we will live again. Amen.

D Easter–There Is More

The first time I heard about “there is more” was from Don Moen, I believe there is more, some years ago. Again, early this year, I heard it again from Hillsongs, Australia in there yet to be released album–there is more.
I believe there is more. The Christian life makes no sense at all without the resurrection. It is the resurrection that makes us have some courage, strength, encouragement and confidence in the ability of God to save even to the end.
It is useless to live a life without a purpose. The purpose of the cross would have been futile without the resurrection.
D Easter reminds us that there is more, and indeed there is more. Even if we cannot get everything in this life, there is Hope that we will get everything in the life after this present life. Hope.

God’s Will–what is revealed and not revealed

God reveals a lot of things through His Word. All we need is to read and pray for understanding. Yet, God speaks to people today in a unique way.

God reveals idea to our thought. Whenever you exclaimed, “oh and I was thinking about that.”–it is God who is probably trying to tell you an idea but our finite mind is trying to grasp it.

Of what use is it to tell a toddler what is only useful for a teenager? If God perceives a message or idea or findings will be too much for our finite mind, He is most likely to hide it from us.
He would rather protect us than hurt us with what He is giving us.
Therefore, if an idea is of no benefit to us, He will never make it known to us. Remember God told Daniel that he should write the message down because it is for an appointed time.

An idea or a message will not come before the appropriate time. This calls for patience when dealing with God. And don’t forget, everything in life takes time. It takes time for God to reveal things to us also because of our limited nature and we live in a limited world.

God’s Will–What we do not Know

There are mysteries and there are revelations. Many of these God often show us. But there are so many things we have no understanding for. Things happen in life that we have no idea why they happen.

Sometimes, we wonder why people suffer? It is even more surprising when good people also suffer. Yes, a lot is happening that we cannot clarify.

For everything that we do not have answers for, we know that The All-knowing God knows it all and we can be rest assured He is in control of anything we cannot control.
So, for everything we do not know or have answers for, let us leave it in the Hand of the supreme being who knows it all.

Handing over to God what you cannot handle creates inner peace and rest of mind. “Hand over” means leave it and don’t worry anymore.

God’s Will– What we Know already

There are some clearly written God’s will and we know this already.

It is God’s will to give thanks. Jesus constantly gave thanks before doing anything. He gave thanks and then the two fishes and five loaves of bread multiplied.

It is God’s will to stay away from all sexual sin.

It is God’s will to stay and live healthy

It is God’s will to lack nothing.

Find and follow what is expressly written in God’s word, and you won’t make any mistakes.

How To Know God’s Will– Simplified

It is not difficult to know the will of God for our lives as we think it is. The reason is because, sometimes, we already know His will but we often think we do not.

First, whatever you decide to do today–whatever choice(s) you make and steps you take, to some extent, are part of God’s will for your life. We just don’t know this.

In the next days, I will discuss a few topics in a series that explain knowing God’s will for our lives.

–what we know already

–what we do not know

–what is revealed and not revealed

–following others

–making mistakes

–what exactly is His will in this case

–Now I know His Will

This Is God

What we cannot do God did. Where we cannot go God went. And when we cannot act God performed.

Our actions cannot earn us the goodness of God. No matter what we do and how we try, it does not make God likes us more or less.

So, we do not need to do anything at all to impress God. This is the reason He is God–to do things only God can do.

He is God regardless of our feelings and opinions. He does not become God by our actions or dispositions.

He is God because He is God.

Re: When God is Not God

First of all, God cannot choose to not be God. This concept only exist on our mind when we feel disappointed that God did not do what we trusted Him to do.

This happens when we hold onto His promise(s) and did not see it happen.

God’s promises are “yes” and “amen”. It will surely come to pass. It’s just a matter of when. Remember, God honors His Word more than His name.

If you don’t know when an event will take place, you simply wait and on the lookout. If it doesn’t happen at the moment you expected, does this make Him incapable or limited,  or a liar? The answer is definitely “No”

So, what happens when we expect Him to do a promise and it does not happen? We surrender to His will. This is because He knows all things and He knows the best.

Learn to accept God both in the good time and also in the bad time. Learn from men of old and those who has gone through and going through a hard time right now and you will see that God has done and He is doing so much good for you than you can ever imagine.

Abraham was and is a good example. He didn’t know when God’s promise of a child will take place, but he waited. Although, he erred and missed it. His mistake still lingers on. At the right time, God visited him and his wife gave birth to Isaac.

God cannot seize to be God regardless of how we feel about Him, or the event of life.

Often, we are in a hurry, thinking that God is not doing His promise. Yes, He is! You just don’t see it with your naked eyes.

Remember, He uses both the good and the bad to accomplish His purpose in life.

God was God in Pharaoh, and God was also God in David.

So, whether it’s a good situation or a bad situation, God is still God.

..but there’s a single situation that God is not God.

When you refuse to believe and doubt this Word, then God can’t be God. God is not God in your life when you doubt Him because He’s incapable of working His good promises in an unbeliever.

Therefore, accept His purpose and His will even when it does not makes sense.
God is still God regardless of our condition–good or bad.

You are always Welcome

One of the most difficult places to gain access to is the king’s palace. The White House (USA) is one of the most guarded building on planet earth. Don’t even dream of coming close to its fence.

Yet, we have a good, good Father who welcomes us and indulges us every time, and you can come to His palace.

He says, you can come to talk about anything you want to talk about. The angels will not hinder or stop you. Talk about your concerns and God is willing and ready to help.

Why not take full advantage that God’s presence is not heavily guarded and that we can come in for mercy and grace to help us through everyday living.

You are always welcome.

Healing Through Forgiveness

A paralyzed man was brought to Jesus and He healed the man by saying, “your sins are forgiven.”

Sometimes, the prayer we need to pray to get healed is for God to forgive us. Our miracles come when we acknowledge God as a holy God, and that we are most evil (unclean) of all.

Confess your known and unknown sins to God (so He can forgive you) and ask Him for healing to take place. Your confession (of sins) may unlock the healing and miracle you have been waiting for.

Be well in Jesus name.
