Magnificent Obsession

I would rather be in love for good things. I would rather be addicted to worthy and credible things. I would rather be obsessed with love for doing good than to be addicted to drugs and substance.

Be Free!

Sometimes, the things we love most are the ones killing us slowly.

Surrender your degrading addictions to a magnificent obsession for God; for good humanity. And live your life meaningfully again by changing your thoughts pattern from bad to good and from a poor life style to a good life style.

A magnificent obsession is not easy but slowly you see your life changing for the very best it was meant to be.
You are free in Jesus name.

Today

Today, while there is life, live your life as if there is no tomorrow.

The Psalmist said, “a fool says in his heart, ‘there is no God’.”

Live meaningfully

While there is still breath, recognize, appreciate and honor God in your heart.
It is the most absurd thing any man can do to think he does not need God.

When you leave this world, you go on a journey you have never been, and you have no assurance of your destination if while you are on earth you live your life void of the owner of it and void of the one who determine your ultimate destination.
Therefore, live your life meaningfully.

From Prison to Palace

Joseph became Governor of Egypt partly because it was God’s will  and partly because his brothers acted wrongly which God used for Joseph’s good.

God always turn things around for the good of His own. Sometimes, things happen and we think why is this happening? Don’t forget that all things work for the good of those who trust God.

All things can include bad situations like a troubling condition, bad working place, irritating boss, etc.

All these, God is capable of using them for your good. So, never fret over any of these conditions, instead trust God and pray more and see your deliverance come sooner than you expected.

Head vs Heart

Your God-given purpose and your purpose in life may be just taking care of the little gift that God has given you.

Your gift may be your career—using it to bless humanity. Yes, your gift can be your little girl-training her to become the best in life. And your purpose in life can just be being a faithful mechanic—bringing smiles to customers.

Your purpose in life is not far-fetched at all. In fact, it is what really move your heart, not your head.

So, God’s will is what move your heart. This is the divine purpose, your calling, your life, your existence. Find it and you have found yourself and you would have found God too.

However, deep inside, this decision is not easy to arrive at because of daily contentions between good and evil. You can only and always win when you make the right choices and when you align your purpose with God’s purpose. Follow your heart, not your head because your heart is receptive to divinity, but your head is concern with pleasure and vanity.

His Making

Everything we are, the air we breathe, the life we have and being here today, it is God’s making.

But for God’s love and kindness, no one will be alive. No one is good enough to enjoy life, and no one is righteous enough to deserve living.

We all live a filthy life so that we are unworthy without His Son Jesus Christ.
So, through Christ, we have everything we could ever need.
Praise God!

He did His; now your turn

“Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” because a sacrifice has to be offered to receive freedom and salvation.

“Jesus had to sacrifice himself, His place and lofty life to give us life and a new beginning.
He made the ultimate sacrifice to give us the ultimate salvation
So, Jesus gave Himself to give us everything–life, freedom, salvation and eternal life.

Now, it’s your turn to make a decision on what you want to do with your life. I have seen that following God is the most enjoyable freedom I have ever had.

Yes, you are free from everything and yet free to be yourself without constraint. The only constraint in God is to do the right thing every time–that, I think, is not a constraint. So, make the right turn.

Deep inside, the battle goes on

God does not forced His will upon anyone. He allows us to make our choices so that we do not have to blame Him for our mishap. God cannot and will not violate the free-will of man. Ability to make choices and decisions is at man’s disposal.

God often encourage people to do the right thing. It’s hard to know and interpret the exact thought that is in the mind of God. That’s why we need revelation. God reveals His thought to His own people. Revelation usually takes time to come to pass.

Generally, people seek God in times of trouble but you do not have to wait to build a relationship with God. It is wisdom to seek God.

God qualifies people to do His will. God communicated to people with respect to peculiarity of the time and season. So, what was not relevant 2000 years ago will be concealed. The same information will be communicated today because it is relevant with our time. This also applies to culture and values.

…..but deep inside the heart, the battle goes on forever because evil is constantly contesting with good.

The Freedom we have

It is a good thing to be independent but becoming independent may lead to indifference and nonchalant attitude. It is important that the freedom we have does not cause grief in others and pride in us.

The bible warns that, “But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble.”

Use the freedom you have to benefit others while lifting people up and still living a meaningful life.
