For the Christian, it is not yet time to rest or relax. You’re on a battlefield.
Typically, you have to place yourself in the same position our Lord Jesus was when He was on earth. He didn’t rest nor relax until He conquered death and sin.
Day and countless nights, He would rise to pray before anyone else to avoid unnecessary distractions. Christians must do the same to rise above wickedness and evil prevailing our environment.
The devil is a roaring wild animal looking for weaklings to destroy.
Rise! You have the battle to win, and you must win because the victory is already guaranteed.
Do not rest until it’s time to rest, and it’s not time yet!
It is said, “you cannot have your cake and eat it.” once eaten, it’s gone! The story of the talent resonates this statement. Two of them invested the little they have and gain extra while the last guy did not invest but waste the only coin he had. The result is simple. The two that invested their coins gained extra coins while the last guy did not but lamented all day long.
Invest today; harvest tomorrow.
The extra money you invest today yields extra change for you in the future. The time you invest in your marriage makes a happy family. The investment you put into the lives of your kids provides for them a great future. Education is an investment and the result is a great career.
God gave His Son to redeem us from sin. Now we have a glorious future ahead of us.
To reap a great harvest, you must sow seeds. And do not forget, whatever you sow is what you will reap.
So, I say to you, invest into your life, your marriage, business, children, your knowledge of God and to humanity and expect a great harvest.
Take time to do things that will affect your future positively. Invest today; harvest tomorrow.
The precious word of Solomon is “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.
The days of trouble or despair or times we do not expect or find palatable are bound to come and pains may increase or discomfort pressure at every turn. During this period, it is the knowledge and the experience we have that often helps us survive and overcome such tides of life.
Your Heart- Your connection to God
It is important to know God so you will be able to overcome during difficult moment. Your knowledge of God guarantees you victory. It is the truth you know that can set you free. You cannot do what you have no idea nor knowledge of doing. And you cannot wait until the moment of trouble before you seek God.
Now has always be the best time to seek God and connect your heart to Him. Tomorrow is not always guaranteed. Also, you cannot use the success of today to measure the breakthrough for tomorrow. Each day has its own battle and you must be ready to fight each battle in a unique way.
If your heart is evil or is far from God, then you have no other choice than to rely on other source of help. Other source of help are often not reliable as they often fail.
For instance, your intellect may fail you. Your success or material wealth may fail you. In fact, needless to say that friends and sometimes loved ones can fail you. I have found out that ONLY God cannot let you down no matter the situation. With God, help is always around the corner.
Nobody leaves in a vacuum so no one can say “I don’t need God.” You may not like to serve Him or love Him or even care about anything, but whether it is now or later at the end of life, the realization is that you either found out how much you have lived without Him or you jump for joy that you did not turn your heart away from God.
Therefore, create a space in your heart for God to reside. Let Him come in and live inside of you. Do not hardened your heart nor turn your attention to the things of life that fades away. A relationship with God is worth much more than gold. Find a place in your heart for God and you would have found eternity.
Time is relevant if we want to do anything. Timing is the most appropriate when targeting a goal or plan or deadlines.
We all give regards to time but not all of us respect time. And that is why some waste a bunch of their time.
Time is Priceless
A quick one, this year is already a quarter and before you know it, it will be dawn. Many will wonder what have they achieved.
I remember what I learnt when I was a young boy: “tick’, ‘tick’, says the clock, ‘tick’, ‘tick’, what you have to do, do quick.
Yes, if there is anything you need to do now, do it now. Tomorrow may be too late or may not even happen.
A current season only reminds us that another season will come. Snowtime only reminds us that the Spring will come and when the Springs finally arrives, we know that the summer is in the corner.
The rain only reminds us that the flowers will soon sprout. And the hard soil reminds us that we should wait a little more and the rain will soften the hard crust.
It is appropriate that a farmer who has spent the early Spring planting to expect harvesting in the Fall.
A hardworking student gets success. Diligent entrepreneurs experience business growth and profit. A loving husband enjoys his marital home, and a caring wife wins the love of his lover.
The present problems and challenges of life are just a reminder that the glorious season will come, and we will smile again.
Weeping endures only for a moment, but joy comes in the morning.
Challenges are just a reminder that we can patiently find the solution that makes for a better living.
Challenges are a season, and it will pass. When you have the desired results, and the solutions are in your hands, your season of rejoicing is here.
