Romans 12:2

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

Conformity with the world is an enmity to God.
That is, if you’re going to satisfy the world, you’ll likely displease God.

You cannot do God’s will and balance your life with the world’s standards at same time. It is nearly impossible!

You must constantly think and work on your mind to do the right thing. Through this, you will be able to determine the will of God for your life.

Your renewed mind will be mindful of the things of God, and how to please Him will be a priority.

Ironically, you cannot satisfy this world (friends, colleagues, social media, trends, and even loved ones). They are more focused on your shortcomings than your positive vibes.

Expending your energy to serve God is better than trying to please this world.

Guide your heart!

True love….

True love cares;
True love thinks about others first;
True love is honest;
True love expresses empathy and shares burden;
True love sacrifices;
True love wait and
True love endures.

The idea about “love me,” “show me your love,” and even the “I love you” seems diluted, polluted,  and complicated today.

But we know that in our hearts, true love is patient.

Love is kind and behaves nicely towards others.

Love does not envy other people. It is happy with other people’s successes and does not wish them evil.

Love doesn’t need to boast or brag about anything. It allows things and events to announce themselves without pushing them.

And love is level-headed. It is warm, calm and, collected, right?

Love behaves respectfully. For instance, it allows other people to talk and doesn’t mind taking turns even if it’s the last turn.

Love is considering others before yourself.

Love relax and would not get offended easily.

Love speaks out carefully against wrongdoing and maintains the truth.

Love endures and is hopeful about tomorrow.

True love lasts forever.

So, this is true love.

This is what true love is all about.

The life of man on earth 8.0 (shame and pain)

The man, Job, experiences shame, pain, and disgrace in the aftermath of the calamities that came upon him and his family.

Of course, he was unhappy, and he despairs for his life. Many of us are sad today due to reasons we can or cannot explain.

We all encounter difficulties and challenges daily.

Job vexed all his anger and bitterness. He even cursed the day he was born. He was sad and lost hope.

“Why wasn’t I born dead? Why didn’t I die as I came from the womb? Job 3:11

He knew that if he had not been born, he wouldn’t have any trouble. And that is the truth!

Had I died at birth, I would now be at peace. I would be asleep and at rest. Job 3:13

There’s a lot of trouble in life that many perspire and dread living.

What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. Job 3:25

It’s okay to express your emotions and let it all out. It’s okay to say what you want to say and let God know how you feel.

God understands, and He alone can fix many of our daily troubles.

So, turn to Him more than you have ever done before.

He will come and save you!

Peace–Evidence of right choices

When God created the world, He saw that He did the right thing. He saw that all He had made were good. He was happy.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

The evidence of peace is not the absence of problems or chaos, but it is an indication that you are moving in the right direction.

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

We make choices every day and every time.

Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. There the day of the LORD will soon arrive.

We do not need to experience Peace at every decision, but we need this indication especially when we make major decisions in our lives.

So Ruth went out to gather grain behind the harvesters. And as it happened, she found herself working in a field that belonged to Boaz, the relative of her father-in-law, Elimelech.

Sometimes, we just need to be at the right place at the right time. We do not need to make a decision for this to happen.

When you make the right choice, you can know. Watch out for the presence of inner peace. Yes, it is “inner peace” because it comes from within.

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

If your heart and mind are troubled, then something is wrong with your choices and decisions.

Next Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time.
Then coming to the borders of Mysia, they headed north for the province of Bithynia, but again the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to go there.

Sometimes, you might need to pray about it to God.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

You also need to wait after praying because you cannot rush a decision after you have prayed.

Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

At the end of the day and time, God might just drop something on your mind, and instantly, you will know that you are on the right track.

If you are on the wrong track, God may cause you to suddenly lose interest.

This is not holistic as God speaks to people differently, but Peace of mind is one of God’s methods of communicating His will to man.

Most of the time, it is in a still small voice.

The Blessings 2.0

“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you. No woman in your land will miscarry or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days.…

Most of God’s promises required obedience for fulfillment.

The Blessings

Although man likes to cut corners, God always has the best intentions.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

“In his kindness, God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.”

Troubles do not last, but God’s promises of Restoration, Support, Strength, and Right Placement is assured.

Be blessed!

The Blessings 1.0

“May the LORD bless you and keep you; may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.’…

The Blessings

Oh God, may we enjoy your favorite look upon us. Regardless, may we still find favor in your eyes.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Peace, Peace, and Peace is all we all need for every situation and every time.

I pray that we will have His Peace in abundance all of our days, Amen.

Happy new year!

A grateful heart

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ponder on the good things that happened this year than the bad things that happened,  and be thankful to God for His goodness.

It is good to praise the Lord. It is good to gaze upon His majesty, to proclaim His love in the morning, and His faithfulness at night.
Oh, it is good to worship and praise the Lord.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Praise the Lord ! Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Psalms 106:1 NLT

Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.
Psalms 107:1‭-‬2 NLT

Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Psalms 118:1 NLT

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 NLT

The Oppressed and the Oppressor

“Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?”

The oppressor will always hold on to the oppressed.

Anything or anyone that places a burden on you is an oppressor.

The master usually doesn’t want the servant to go.

If a king has its way would prefer to be king forever (dictatorship).
You will need to fight hard to rescue the prey (victim) from the warrior.
The warrior usually will not let go of his spoil (victim).

To be free, the oppressed must have a ransom, a kinsman, or fight to the end.
