1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
There are many unpalatable and unfavorable events and moments of our lives that does not motivate us to thank God for, yet He wants us to give thanks even in those situations.
God doesn’t want our thanksgiving tied to only the good seasons. His desire is for His children to be grateful in both good and bad seasons because He works all things out for the good of His people.
Romans 8:28 NIV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
God uses the bad seasons and down moments of our lives to mold us into what He wants us to be, and becoming the best version of ourselves. He uses all things for our good.
All we need to do His trust Him. That’s hard to do in a very precarious situations, but just try! This is the requirement– to try and trust Him and He will work things out for our good.
