God wants us to be hopeful regardless of how hopeless any situation seems to be.
Romans 15:13 said, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.
We might not be able to understand everything in our lives, but we need to trust God to lead us through the darkest night.
Without hope, we will be lost and the devil will take advantage of it.
We need hope because hope is the vehicle to get us to the fulfilment of our purposes in life when all else fails.
When everything else fails, hope gives us confidence in God that He is there for us and that, though we don’t have it now, we don’t have it all figured out, and all is lost, we hope in God for a better days ahead.
And even if the better days did not come, the next is to hope in the eternity that God has promised us and given us already by the work of Jesus on the cross.
It is this hope that gives us joy and confidence in an unfailing love of God and in an unfailing God.
