Salvation is here!

Revelation 12:10 KJV
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Salvation is here!

Salvation is here for those who put their trust and hope in God who never fails. The power of God in Christ Jesus is stronger enough to defeat sickness, disease and death. Salvation is here and as we gaze at Him, we receive our deliverance.

Romans 13:11 KJV
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

This is the time to draw closer to God than ever. When all else fails, we have an assurance that God never fails. He always makes a way where there is no way. Let us use this moment of time to draw to saving grace of God and our deliverance will surely come. Amen.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Although science is very good (and I know this) but it cannot save if God who is the giver of everything withholds the knowledge. If we lack anything, it makes sense to ask God who gives it. Our salvation is from God and in Him. There is no other way by which we can be saved other than the way God has made. Let us run to God with full assurance that God is our helper and lifter of our soul.

Psalm 27:1 KJV
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Fear can kill and most of us can acknowledge this. Faith is not being unreasonable. it is simply trusting in God’s word and in His promises. For an ordinary mind, this is super hard because it often does not make sense. If it makes sense, why do we have to trust God? It is because it does not make sense that is why we trust Him. You do not expect or hope for what you already have but for what you do not have.

Psalm 37:39 KJV
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

In this time of trouble, the Lord is our strength and our capability. If we trust Him He will save us and deliver us from all our trouble.

He (God) will come and save us.

Hope is here!

Our hope is in God the creator of heaven and the earth. We are confident God can do what no man can do. Our hope is that when men fail, God remains faithful. Our hope is that God can never fail no matter the situation.

Hope is here!

Let us never forget that this earth is passing away with all its pleasure. And nothing really lasts forever including riches, wealth, fame, etc. Life and everything in it are passing away. Therefore, hope is needed especially in a time like this.

Hope is knowing with confidence that what we are expecting will happen.

This requires trusting God that He can keep every of His promises. Let us use this time that our world is experiencing what seems like a plague to turn to God, perhaps God is using it to get our attention since the Coronavirus successfully holds the world bound.

Here are several Words to encourage us to thrust all our hope in the unfailing God in whose Hands we are forever secure.

Our hope remains if God remains. And God remains Forever. Amen!

1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Corinthians 15:19 KJV
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Psalm 31:24 KJV
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psalm 42:5 KJV
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Psalm 119:114 KJV
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

Psalm 130:5 KJV
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Psalm 147:11 KJV
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Help is here!

In a time like this, it is difficult to fully understand what is going on and why now?
There is panic, fear and anxiety everywhere as people try to find a way out of this current situation.

Help is here!

We know that fear in itself is a dangerous element. Fear kills and this is more devastating than the object feared.
So, what can we do at this time? We can turn to God. The Psalmist says in Psalm 121:1-2, I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

I believe we need help from God more than ever before and He can help us if we turn to Him.
We should not let fear defeat us. We should turn to God and help will come if we acknowledge Him.

Psalm 121:1-8 KJV
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. [3] He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keeps thee will not slumber. [4] Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. [5] The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. [6] The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. [7] The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. [8] The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Unbroken Promises

Even in the face of adversity and reproach, there’s increase, multiplication and abundance of blessings. God’s covenant with Israel is unbroken.

Unbroken Promises

God had an intimate conversation with Abraham– Genesis 17:1-2,4-8 KJV
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. [2] And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. [4] As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. [5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. [6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. [7] And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. [8] And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

What can you say? if God is for you, who and what can be or stand against you? God will never leave us nor forsake us as He promised.

God has said that He will honor His own Word more than His name. If He has said it, then you have to hold Him by His Word. By defaults and records, He has never failed.

So, why run to man when you can run to God? If truly God has called you and afterwards you encounter challenges on the way, why consult a man? Why not talk to God about it?

And better still, you can challenge those difficulties by addressing them in the name of Him who called you. Simply, talk to God about your problems not to man. Why would you give the honor of solving your problem to man when God said He would not share His glory with anyone?

Think about this for a second, would you like God glorified or man glorified?

God is more than reliable. He has promised and He will never fail even if it seems otherwise.

Don’t be deceived by the circumstances surrounding your life right now, instead shout for joy because you have overcome the world.

His promises are yes and amen!

Satan has lost his grip

The first thing the believers need to know is that they are a victorious people. This mentality alone will always defeat the enemy. Satan get weary of a Christian who doesn’t give up.

Your authority over the devil is the same authority that Jesus have. You have equal power in His name to defeat all wicked arrows of the enemies.

Therefore, understand that you are fighting from the victory stands. You can never be defeated without you defeating yourself. So, you must defeat yourself for the enemy to be able to defeat you.

Satan has lost all grips over you except those you allow him to have (if any). This mentality will always guarantee you a daily victory. So, even if you fall, if you keep getting back up, your authority and power over your enemies are forever guaranteed. Yes, forever guaranteed!

Do not believe in the devil’s lies. Check it out, we have equal status with Jesus because God adopted us like His Son, Jesus. This is who you are, but you need to know this.

Ephesians 1:18-21 NIV
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, [19] and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength [20] he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, [21] far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Live daily with this mentality and you will never experience defeat again.

Still Standing

In a world where just about anything can flaw you, you need an exceptional grace of God to stand and keep standing.

It’s only by the grace of God that you can stand, not because you are a good person but because God is a good God.

It’s easy to fall to errors, problems and multiple mistakes in our world. Therefore, to stand strong and still function effectively, you definitely need the grace.

Standing up and staying strong is not an option but the only thing you need to do.

Many will fall, many will fail the test, many will make simple and grave mistakes but you can still stand like David and still bear the name “a man after God’s own heart “.

Everytime you fall, jump back up and keep moving. When Moses was confused about what to do and how to lead the Israelites through the red sea, God told him, tell them to “go forward”.

Your only option is to keep standing. So, defy all odds and get back up and stand and keep standing through God’s Grace.

A Special Child

The birth of Jesus was a special one because even though he was conceived, the conception happened supernaturally. Mary and Joseph did not have to sleep together for Jesus to be conceived. Jesus was conceived by the Divine power of the Holy Spirit. This is the power of God at work.

A Special Birth

Moses was conceived naturally but the mother was able to discern that Moses was a special child and so she did all she can to hide him for a while.

There are always special people born into this life. No matter how we look at it, this special people are destined for special occasion and glory.  Often, it is almost difficult to stop them even when they are making a wrong turn in their lives.

A good example of special ones who made wrong turns and yet still fulfill destiny are Samson, David, Rahab (the harlot), Mary Magdalene, etc.

In our contemporary days, we cannot deceive ourselves that some have and are making special impacts in the world today. People like Billy Graham, great leaders like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln have all made great impact.

Also, we have great minds like Steve Job, Bill Gate, etc. Some of these people develop themselves to get there but majority of them were born special.

This season, we celebrate the birth of the one and only Jesus who came and was born in a manger. There was nothing special about His birth but He was born special.

Angels celebrated His birth, Wise men saw the Stars, and even a King thought His arrival would dethrone him.
So, the little baby became the savior of mankind. He bridged the gap created by sin and a sinful world.

Ever since He was born till now (and forever), He is celebrated.
By far, the most important thing about Him is He bringing us salvation and relationship with God because He is Emmanuel.

Now, we have peace with God through God’s only Son, Jesus.
Everything in life is nothing–they are all meaningless like chasing the wind.

A relationship with God (with daily fellowship) is worth it if it means eternal life.
You can ask Him to forgive you your sinful life now and He will come and make a new life with you and for you. Amen.

Find Your Heart; Find Your God

The precious word of Solomon is “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.

The days of trouble or despair or times we do not expect or find palatable are bound to come and pains may increase or discomfort pressure at every turn. During this period, it is the knowledge and the experience we have that often helps us survive and overcome such tides of life.

Your Heart- Your connection to God

It is important to know God so you will be able to overcome during difficult moment. Your knowledge of God guarantees you victory. It is the truth you know that can set you free. You cannot do what you have no idea nor knowledge of doing. And you cannot wait until the moment of trouble before you seek God.

Now has always be the best time to seek God and connect your heart to Him. Tomorrow is not always guaranteed. Also, you cannot use the success of today to measure the breakthrough for tomorrow. Each day has its own battle and you must be ready to fight each battle in a unique way.

If your heart is evil or is far from God, then you have no other choice than to rely on other source of help. Other source of help are often not reliable as they often fail.

For instance, your intellect may fail you. Your success or material wealth may fail you. In fact, needless to say that friends and sometimes loved ones can fail you. I have found out that ONLY God cannot let you down no matter the situation. With God, help is always around the corner.

Nobody leaves in a vacuum so no one can say “I don’t need God.” You may not like to serve Him or love Him or even care about anything, but whether it is now or later at the end of life, the realization is that you either found out how much you have lived without Him or you jump for joy that you did not turn your heart away from God.

Therefore, create a space in your heart for God to reside. Let Him come in and live inside of you. Do not hardened your heart nor turn your attention to the things of life that fades away. A relationship with God is worth much more than gold. Find a place in your heart for God and you would have found eternity.

A Thankful Heart

It is a good thing to give thanks.

From childhood, we learn to say “thank you” when we receive a gift from someone. One of the lessons was it is a good culture to be grateful.
There are several reasons why we should be thankful.

We give thanks to show gratitude. When we receive what we ask for and we want to demonstrate how happy we are, we usually give a smile and an expression of gratitude.

Sometimes, we do not receive what we ask for. In this case, the bible encourages us to still give thanks.
It says, “in all things give thanks for this is God’s will for us.” So, giving thanks is like a commandment from God so that we do not do it when it is most pleasant but also when it is unpalatable. That is, we can say “thank you Lord for all you have done and for all you are doing even though I cannot see the ones you are doing right now or the ones you are going to do tomorrow”, and we will be fulfilling a key part of God’s purpose for our lives.

Therefore, we can give thanks not just when it is convenient but when it does not make any sense to do so. You do not follow your natural instinct to obey God or do the right thing;  just do it.

Your natural instinct does not know how to love God and does not want to do the things of God. So, waiting for the most favorable time to say “thank you” is the devil’s deception of saying – there isn’t anything to be thankful for.

But we know that God is good not only in the good time but also in down time and He is ever blessing us .

Thank Him today and thank Him everyday of your life for everything.

Find Your Heart; Find your Means

You can conceive great ideas and logical means of creating wealth . As long as your heart does not condemn your actions, this is possible. For instance, your heart will lead you to your place of destiny, to the place where you will be successful or fulfilled. The scientific function of the heart is to pump and supply blood to every part of the body.

Your Heart- Source of your Mean

This means the heart knows and reaches every part of a human body. It is safe, then, to say that the heart knows every part of the bodies’ need. It can guide you to where your treasure lies.

If your heart is filled with an evil thought, it can only produce evil actions. If you cheat, it’s because you conceive cheating in your heart. If you lie, it’s because your heart has been seared, corrupt and degraded that it cannot hold the truth anymore. If you work hard, it’s because your heart believes working hard is key to success. whatever you do, your heart conceives it. This is why your heart has to be “good” to produce any good actions.

Behind every intentions is a longing heart that serves as a driving, propelling force to fulfill the intentions. Therefore, if you can find your heart, you will be able to find your purpose for existence. If you do this, you may likely provide and meet your own need while fulfilling your longings.

A CPA student’s desire will be to complete the exams and practice or use the certificate to get a better job. The same goes for PMP student, MBA student, Ph.D student and for any profession.

Imagine if the same heart can conceive any evil thought at all. This means that a person can wake up with the soul purpose of carrying out an evil act such as mass shooting or bombing, robbing a bank or cheating.

The more compelling thought is that the heart can hold any thought within a second and can keep such thought (plan) for a very long time—becoming a purpose–with a desire to achieve this purpose. Therefore, if your heart is evil, you are a potential danger to anyone.
