Move on!

Move on! It is the statement God told Moses to tell the Israel people. Another version said, go forward.

Move on!

Exodus 14:14-15 NIV
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” [15] Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.

The Israel nation was faced with either return to Egypt or face the red sea.

Standing in front of the red sea and hearing someone telling you to go forward is the most daunting words you can take.

We don’t hear such bold words nowadays, but no doubt, God still speaks only in different ways.

A little trust in God and confidence in ourselves is all we need to face our red sea and move to the other side instead of dwelling in the past.

The past is useful for lessons, but its moment is gone. Today is all we have, and there’s an opportunity to advance to the next level if we move on.

At the right place the right time

This morning, I went through the verse I had read before, and I found a renewed inspiration.

So Ruth went out to gather grain behind the harvesters. And as it happened, she found herself working in a field that belonged to Boaz, the relative of her father-in-law, Elimelech.
Ruth 2:3 NLT

There’s a lot in this verse, but I will break it into one piece in prayers.

May we find ourselves in the right place and at the right time. We shall not miss our rightful place in Jesus’ name.

We shall enjoy God’s grace and favor. God’s mercy shall meet us at the feet of Jesus. We will not miss our blessings by a split of a second.

In the morning, favor meets us. At noon, God’s graciousness won’t leave us, and in the night, His help will remain at our sides. We will not labor in vain.

God’s favor and mercy will bring us closer to our destiny, and we shall fulfill destiny in the name of Jesus.

You will be positioned to your glory and destiny at the right place at the right time.

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord ; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord , have spoken!
Isaiah 54:17 NLT

Tell them to move on

Exodus 14:15-16 NIV
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. [16] Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

It suggests that God doesn’t want us to return to Egypt or the past.
It also means that if God is telling us to move forward, He will likely give directions on what to do.

Psalm 46:10-11 NIV
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” [11] The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Grace at work

The grace of God is constantly working in us to perfect God’s purpose in us for His glory.

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
Colossians 1:27

God’s grace will work to bring us closer to where we belong– our rightful place.

Seasons Reminder (2.0)

A current season only reminds us that another season will come. Snow time only reminds us that the Spring will come and when the Springs finally arrives, we know that the summer is in the corner.

Seasons Reminder

The rain only reminds us that the flowers will soon sprout. And the hard soil reminds us that we should wait a little more and the rain will soften the hard crust.
It is appropriate that a farmer who has spent the early Spring planting to expect harvesting in the Fall.
A hardworking student gets success. Diligent entrepreneurs experience business growth and profit. A loving husband enjoys his marital home, and a caring wife wins the love of his lover.
The present problems and challenges of life are just a reminder that the glorious season will come, and we will smile again.
Weeping endures only for a moment, but joy comes in the morning.
Challenges are just a reminder that we can patiently find the solution that makes for a better living.
Challenges are a season, and it will pass. When you have the desired results, and the solutions are in your hands, your season of rejoicing is here.

How to turn your exhausted life into an excited life 5.0

When there is no one to encourage you in your challenges, you have to inspire yourself.

When there is no one around to help or to console, and everyone abandons you, encourage yourself. When others let you down, you should not let yourself down. Take these steps in times of crisis. Do not let your guard down. Be strong and courageous.

Shake off fear and hopelessness. Develop a strong-willed mind and a sound Spirit. In a short time, you will come out as a victor.

As I conclude this series, I would like to remind us of all the lessons– that you can refresh your old memories that bring sweet feelings. Although this seems simple, you have to recollect all of the good feelings you had in the past.

Those who wait on God receive strength and power. You can come to God to obtain this strength that you will need in times of weakness.

God’s promises are unbroken. They will surely come to pass. He is not a man that lies or a man that cannot hold unto his word and fulfill it.

Hope does not give up because there is an assurance that God can do what He says. There is no failure with God.

Seek counsel! At the moment, you feel downcast and weary. You need help that is reliable and able to lift you from your lowly state. There are times you cannot do it all alone, and an extra hand is all you need to be on your two toes.

Do not give up on yourself. If you can breathe, you can live again.

How to turn your exhausted life into an excited life 3.0

In my last two posts, I talked about how you can use your sweet old memories and waiting on God to re-energize your dampened spirit. Today, I am introducing another recipe for the revitalization of your exhausting life.

Hope is an expectation and assurance in God’s faithfulness that what He promises will happen or come to pass.

There is a general confusion between Faith and Hope, but the two are completely different. Hope is one of the greatest attributes. Without it, the bible says we are the most miserable people on earth.

When you think about God’s promises that they are true and that God can never lie, it increases confidence.

God’s promises are unbroken. They will surely come to pass. He is not a man that lies or a man that cannot hold unto his word and fulfill it.

So, when your soul is weary and tired, remember His promises. Remember He said that “I will never leave you nor forsake you” “Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.”
Hold unto these promises and repeat over and over until your spirit is confident in God’s ability to fulfill it.

Hope does not give up because there is an assurance that God can do what He says. There is no failure with God.

Take those words of God and practice them daily until it becomes part of you, and do not give them up because Hope says, “I believe God can do what He says He will do. He never fails, and He is not going to let me down. God is able!

Expect from God to help you, and He will perform it if you continue to hold unto His promises.

How to turn your exhausted life into an excited life 2.0

In the last post, I gave an illustration of how sweet old memories can wake up the sleeping giant in you and revitalize your passion. There is another way you can re-energize your spirit.

Those who wait on God receive strength and power. You can come to God to obtain this strength that you will need in times of weakness.

We may become faint and tired, but God never grows weary.
God’s wisdom is infinite or beyond infinite ( I mean you cannot imagine how smart God is), but man has little understanding.
God’s strength is limitless. He is never exhausted and does not get tired.

When your car is running out of gas, you quickly stop at the nearest station to refill.
It makes logical sense that, when you are tired and weary, you should run to God to be refilled and energized.

Talk to God about your exhaustion and ask Him for what you need to keep the passion. Remember, weaklings, are usually left out of the race.

The secret to abundance- Obedience

One of the fundamental challenges of man is paying attention to basic instructions or obeying simple instructions. It’s important to remind ourselves that we are here today, with all our problems and a world of chaos, because Adam and Eve couldn’t follow through on a simple instruction.

Obedience to God’s instructions is key to unlocking your blessings. Think of a child who disobeys. You won’t be pleased not only because the child doesn’t listen but also because the child may, in the process, endanger his or her own life.

God’s standards will not change. If it’s a call to pray, pray! If it’s a call to talk to someone about a business or seek advice, do it without arrogance or pride. If it’s a call to be patient or wait, it is wise to slow down at the moment. Rushing or working round the clock to speed up the arrival of your breakthrough will not necessarily move God to act.

Let’s learn from the patriarch– Abraham did not receive the blessing-his descendants did– he had to wait. Moses waited for 40 years before he could lead the Israelites nation. Joseph spent time in prison even though for the wrong reasons but, when the time came, he became king. David was anointed king as a teenager. He never became king until he was 30 years old. Jesus Christ fasted and waited for 40 days before he commenced His ministry.

Many of our daily struggles would be over in a short time If we would follow simple instructions.
Therefore, listen and learn, and most importantly, obey so you can reap the maximum benefits.

1 Samuel 15:22 NIV
But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

Deuteronomy 15:5-6 NIV
if only you fully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today. [6] For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

Joshua 1:8 NIV
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Free will

God does not force His will upon anyone. He allows us to make our choices so that we do not have to blame Him for our mishap. God cannot and will not violate the free-will of man. The ability to make choices and decisions is at man’s disposal.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
